Who I am
Good Point Studio is a one-person real estate photography business in Cedar Park, Texas. I’m Dmitrii (Dima) Lagunov, and I’m the only person who reads your messages. If you have a question about your information, email me at goodpointstudioatx@gmail.com.
What I collect
The booking form sends me what you type in it: the property address, the square footage, whether someone lives in the home, the day you want, the package, your name, phone number and email.
If you text, call or email me, I get your number or email address and whatever you write.
If you hire me, I also keep the access notes for the home (a lockbox code, for example), the invoice and the payment record.
How I use it
I use it to reply to you, schedule the shoot, get into the home, send the photos and the invoice, and keep the records a business has to keep for taxes. That’s all. I won’t add you to a mailing list, and I don’t sell or rent your information or give it to anyone for advertising.
Who else sees it
I use a few outside services, and each one sees part of it:
- Formspree receives the booking form and forwards it to my email.
- Google runs my email.
- Google Analytics counts visits to this site. More on that below.
- My phone carrier carries calls and texts.
- Card payments go through the payment service named on the invoice. I never see your full card number.
I’ll share information beyond that only if the law requires it, for example under a court order.
Cookies and analytics
I use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found the site, for example through Google search or Instagram. It sets cookies in your browser and tells Google your device, your browser, your approximate location (down to the city) and the pages you open. It also notes when someone sends the form or taps my phone number or email, but not what they wrote. Google Analytics doesn’t give me your name or your email, and I don’t use it for ads.
To opt out, block cookies for this site or install Google’s opt-out add-on.
There are no ad pixels here. The fonts and the map load from this site’s own server, and the server doesn’t keep logs of who visits.
Photos of the home
I photograph the property, not the people in it. Before a shoot, I ask sellers to put away family photos, mail and anything with a name on it. If something personal still ends up in a photo, tell me, and I’ll edit it out or drop that photo from the set.
How long I keep it
- Lockbox codes: I delete them after the shoot.
- Booking requests that don’t turn into a shoot: I delete them within 12 months.
- Invoices and the messages that go with them: as long as tax rules require, usually up to seven years.
Seeing or deleting your information
Email me and ask what I have about you, and I’ll send it. You can also ask me to fix it or delete it. I’ll answer within 30 days, though it’s usually the same day. The only things I can’t delete early are the tax records above, and I’ll tell you which ones they are.
Children
This site is for real estate agents, property managers and homeowners. It isn’t meant for children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If I change this policy, I’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
